3D Modelling
During the past week, the 3D Modelling team progressed the revised Dwarf character through its next stage of development, completing the texturing of the base model and bringing its surface detail and material definition to life. With the updated proportions now fully realised, the team also refitted existing Earthen and Frost Dwarf clothing to align with the new body structure, ensuring consistency across all variants. In addition, dwarf beard assets were adjusted to properly integrate with the revised model, helping maintain character identity while improving overall cohesion. These updates strengthen the visual quality and adaptability of dwarf characters within Depths of Erendorn, preparing them for continued integration and use in-game.

Programming
Server
During the past week, the Server team focused on refining dungeon systems and improving overall performance and stability. A number of ability blocks linked to returning dungeon events were corrected, ensuring they function as intended within the updated event framework. Significant optimisation work reduced dungeon generation times from around fifteen seconds to just two, greatly improving responsiveness during gameplay. The team also revisited long-standing issues with dungeon structure, rebuilding wall generation to better wrap around room layouts and reworking ceiling systems, including the addition of occasional godray effects to enhance atmosphere. In parallel, further issues stemming from earlier command processing changes were identified and resolved, addressing cases where players could become stuck due to locking and responsiveness problems. Together, these improvements restore reliability to dungeon content while strengthening overall game performance in Depths of Erendorn.
Animation
This week, the Animation team continued refining NPC movement and in-game positioning within Depths of Erendorn, focusing on improving how characters inhabit and interact with their environments. Work centred on adjusting animations to better align with gameplay scenarios, ensuring smoother transitions and more accurate placement during encounters.
