Client
Over the past week, the Client team has continued testing and refining both newly implemented and existing abilities, with a strong focus on improving reliability and visual consistency during combat. Particular attention was given to abilities with effects that persist across multiple turns, resulting in a series of fixes to how associated visual effects are handled throughout their duration. A significant milestone was the implementation of client-side stat multiplication, resolving issues that had been affecting several abilities and passive effects, including the extensively tested Zeal ability. These updates help ensure combat mechanics are represented more accurately while providing a more consistent and dependable gameplay experience.
Server
Throughout the past week, the Server team has continued refining the recently implemented level three abilities, addressing bugs and improving reliability as testing progresses. Alongside these fixes, the team refactored the game's healing systems to support mechanics such as Grievous Wounds, providing a more flexible foundation for future combat interactions and balance changes. Additional work focused on resolving issues affecting stat multiplication abilities, including Zeal, ensuring bonuses are applied correctly and consistently across gameplay.
Animation
Throughout the past week, the Animation team has focused on implementing the Arcane Giant into Depths of Erendorn, bringing another major enemy closer to full in-game functionality. Work has centred on integrating the creature's animation systems and ensuring its movement and behaviours function correctly within the game engine, laying the foundation for future combat encounters. This implementation represents another important step towards expanding the game's roster of enemies while ensuring new creatures meet the visual and gameplay standards established across the project.
